Perth Masjid is located right in the centre of Perth City. It is the only mosque in the city.
It is situated at a walking distance from the Perth bus and train stations, making it easily
accessible by bus, train or private transport.
The masjid has been in use by the Muslim community since 1997. It has been serving the
Community in and around Perth since then. It is open to all Muslims. There is a separate
section in the mosque for women
The mosque is open at the time of the prayer. The doors are opened 10-15 minutes before
each prayer time and closes 15 minutes or so after the prayer.
Charitable Status & Aims
The Mosque has been a registered charity since the 10th July 1997 (SC026814) and the objects for which it was established are:
The conduct of public worship according to the tenets of the religion of Islam in accordance with the sunni sect.
The provision of facilities for public worship according to such tenets at PERTH ISLAMIC CENTRE. In addition, these facilities shall be used for the study of the religion and for the education of persons in the faith of the religion.
The relief of poverty of those in need among the Muslim community in the area.
The promotion, propagation and carrying on such activities as are incidental or ancillary to these aims and objectives.
